Access your RESP for Training at MTS Training School

MTS Training School is a certified education institute with Employment and Social Development Canada. This means our training fees are considered tuition, allowing students to access their RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan) funds to cover their course costs. Additionally, students  will receive a Tuition Tax Credit.

How to Use RESP: To use your RESP for our training, contract your RESP provider and request an Educational Assistance Payment.

Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant

PLEASE NOTE: THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS CANCELLED ALL FUNDING TO THIS GRANT AND THE SASKATCHEWAN GOVERNMENT WILL BE ANNOUCING MORE FUNDING OPTIONS IN THE 2025-2026 BUDGET BY APRIL 1ST, 2025.

The Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant is an employer-driven program that:

• Helps businesses and non-profit organizations train new or existing employees for available jobs; and
• Provides more opportunities for unemployed and underemployed workers to receive training.

Through the program, the employer contributes one-third of the training cost, while the federal and provincial governments contribute the remaining two-thirds, up to $10,000 per employee per year. 

Employers are expected to pay all costs of training up front to the training institute and will be reimbursed once training is completed.
